  5. Early Days maps out Nine Circles interpretation of Cold Wave and Minimal Synth. Unbelievably the tracks are mostly from a brief time period, ’’ Alienation and uncertainty course through the 2LP with heavy Korg chords, metallic machine beats and brittle vocals. Nine circles was formed in the early 80s by Peter Van Garderen and Lidia Fiala.
  6. Barring the corny bullshit ‘joke’ opener and closer tracks, this album is a tour de force in the gloom pop realm that has no rival. Opening track “I Don’t Wanna be Me” is a fine single and was leagues faster than the band had played since the early days, but it’s from there where the album gets a bit disjointed. Nine Circles.
  7. NINE CIRCLES - The Early Days [CD] Not much needs saying about this early 80's dutch minimal synth cult duo Nine Circles, aka Lidia Fia.. € Add to Cart. 8. This CD contains what seems to be some live material, since Nine Circles never relased a full LP or even an EP. (DAMN!!!!). The singer sounds like Anka Wolbert in the early Clan Of Xymox days.
