  6. Another incredible album from Submotion Orchestra. I like the direction their sound is going in. Something different but unmistakably Submotion. I miss Ruby's vocals on most tracks but the guest vocalists are all excellent. And Ruby is on enough tracks to convince me this isn't a side project. I do miss Simon's horns though/5(10).
  7. Submotion Orchestra is a live 7-piece project from Leeds, incorporating deep bass-driven grooves and dense textures in their progressive live dubstep sound. Band members are Ruby Wood (Vocals), Dom Howard aka Ruckspin (Production), Tommy Evans (Drums), Taz Modi (Keyboards), Simon Beddoe (Trumpet), Danny Templeman (Percussion) and Chris 'Fatty.
  8. Colour Theory, which dropped on Ninja Tune imprint Counter Records  a few hours ago, is Submotion Orchestra's fourth LP. It's absolutely nothing like 's Fragments or 's Alium, and those of you that are expecting a repeat of those albums will certainly be disappointed.
