1. John Lennon’s second solo album was his greatest commercial success. On it he tempered some of the more abrasive and confrontational elements of its predecessor, John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band, offering instead a more conventional pop collection that contains some of his best-loved songs. The album Imagine was after Plastic Ono.

3. The song "Imagine" will probably be forever considered to be John Lennon's signature song. The album, likewise, will probably be considered his best album. I'm like many others when it comes to John Lennon, "Imagine", though not my favorite song composed by /5().

4. I had converted it to MP3 format using a USB turntable, but unfortunately you can still hear crackles and the odd scratch. Decided to upgrade to CD and was so happy that this version contains not only the original versions, but another 26 tracks. Different 'takes' of the original Imagine album songs, but also some of Lennon's singles/5().
