  2. Wrathchild America stand and deliver for the opening salvo of 'Climbin' The Walls' and the rampant 'Hell's Gates'. The hard rock of 'No Deposit No Return' doesn't quite fit with the rest of the album, and silly lyrical material such as 'London After Midnight' (about vampires), 'Candy From A Madman (about a psycho) and 'Silent Life (Smothered.

  5. Like most late '80s power metal, Wrathchild America 's Climbin' the Walls is full of speedy, muscular riffs, complex time changes, and superb drumming -- especially on the title track and "Silent Darkness.".
  6. The band amended their name by adding America, and their debut album Climbin' the Walls peaked at # on the Billboard [2] [3] Though only given a half of a songwriting credit for the song "London After Midnight", Keller also co-wrote the songs: "No Deposit, No Return" and "Day of the Thunder".

  8. Since Climbing the Walls is the only Wrathchild America album I have found, I can not compare and contrast this album to the others. A little note about Wrathchild America: Wrathchild America was previously named Wrathchild, but had to change there name to avoid legal issuses with a band already named Wrathchild.
